Focus Weekend at Ivory's Rock

The First Focus Weekend was very enjoyable!

People came from Adelaide, Victoria, NSW, and Brisbane, to take some time out to focus on peace and enjoy the beautiful surrounds of Ivorys Rock.
The weekend featured a Knowledge Review and special screening held on Sunday at the Conference Hall. It was an opportunity for people to refresh their practice of the techniques of Self Knowledge and understand more.
Other highlights included a guided  tour of the event facilities, yoga sessions with Fran Archer and a delicious Mexican Fiesta dinner on Friday night.
On Saturday 60 people gathered in the Hall for the Updates Meeting. The meeting also was zoomed live, connecting people from Fiji, New Zealand and across Australia (151 zoom attendees)
Speakers included the new General Manager of Ivorys Rock Rob Donelly, Volunteer Projects Coordinator Bruce Parmentier, Raj Prasad and Sam Bender from the Knowledge Session team, Andrea Sun for the Peace Education Program with Helen Forbes as MC.
Dawn Rees zoomed in from Melbourne to give a sponsorship update, including the successful grants applications to support the new Campground Green Bush Kitchen and more.
Bruce Parmentier, extended a warm invitation for people to come and enjoy volunteering at Ivory's Rock. There has been a great response to this invitation, with people coming for the first time to volunteer at Ivory's Rock.
Thank you to all the volunteers who helped to make the weekend such a success. A special mention to Volunteer Manager Lesleigh Daly and Communications Manager Gail Browne who helped organise the weekend, and the Technical Team, Steve Browne, Carlos Bran and Ben Salk.
A very inspiring Weekend enjoyed by all!
