About Us

"Peace is possible. Peace is a human necessity and Peace begins with each one of us"

Ivory’s Rock Foundation (IRF) was established in 2010 as a charitable organisation for educational purposes. Set up by individuals who value peace in their own lives, IRF makes the possibility of personal peace available to interested people.
Our foundation does this in two main ways. We support the Peace Education Program in our region. We also organise and host peace and wellbeing events
IRF is affiliated with Words of Peace Global, an international charitable foundation. We are grateful to our volunteers and donors who continue to make so much possible.

Peace Education Program

Ivory’s Rock Foundation proudly supports the Peace Education Program in Australia, New Zealand, and South Pacific.
Workbooks and materials are provided at no cost to organisations. Ivory's Rock Foundation financially covers some of these costs, in partnership with The Prem Rawat Foundation. Over 40 volunteers help to facilitate the programs in the region.

Centre for Peace Education

To support the organisation’s activities Ivory's Rock Foundation owns Ivory's Rock, a conference and event venue near Ipswich, Queensland.  The venue hosts large International Peace Events which can attract up to 5,000 attendees.  Camping style accommodation is available for more than 2,000 guests.
We also collaborate with other not-for-profit and government organisations to host environmental and community activities. Ivory's Rock is also available for commercial hire, which helps cover the cost of maintaining this large facility.

Yuggera and Ugarapul people

Ivory’s Rock Foundation acknowledges the Yuggera and Ugarapul people of the Yuggera Nation, upon whose ancestral lands we stand at Ivory’s Rock, and their ancestors past, present and emerging.
IRF stands in solidarity with indigenous people’s right to determine their own future.

Charter

The IRF charter upholds the principles of personal peace and supports a platform for humanity which acknowledges people from all different backgrounds, religions and cultures.
