2024 has been a good year for the
Peace Education Program in the South Pacific.
The program continues to be facilitated in Prisons, Drug and Alcohol Support organisations, local communities and education organisations.
Four Facilitator Development Workshops have been held in the Region and we now have over 60 facilitators across Fiji, Australia and New Zealand who have been through the training process.
We have also added a number of tech operators to the Peace Education Program team.
For 2025 this will mean more opportunities to make the Peace Education Program available both on zoom and face to face and also for facilitators to assist in other Regions.
The new PEP EDU has been completed and the focus for 2025 will be on offering the resource to Universities, International Language Colleges, Teachers Colleges and Vocational Training Centres like TAFE in Australia and Te Pukenga, New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology.
